Introduction to FHIR and Applications for Data Capture and Interoperability in Sentinel

The adoption of HL7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) application programming interfaces by EHR systems in response to the 21st Century Cures Act has led to new opportunities for data capture. This presentation will introduce the basics of the HL7 FHIR standard and discuss opportunities for collecting and transmitting data for Sentinel using the standard.
