    Description

Lyme disease can be effectively prevented with a single dose of doxycycline (SDD) as post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) following a high-risk tick bite, yet prescribing practices in children remain variable. This study described patterns of Lyme disease PEP using SDD among pediatric patients aged 0–19 years using data from the FDA's Sentinel System from 2016 through 2020. This poster was presented at the 2025 ISPE Annual Meeting.
