Clozapine Use: First Descriptive Analysis

In this analysis, we assessed the utilization patterns of clozapine among seven distinct cohorts. To be eligible for inclusion in a cohort, patients were required to be continuously enrolled for at least 183 days prior to clozapine use, allowing for gaps in coverage up to 45 days. We identified each cohort by varying the washout period, treatment episode gap, and treatment episode extension. 

The study period includes data from September 1, 2015 to December 31, 2018. We executed this request on Merative™ MarketScan® Research Databases on June 30, 2020.
