    Description

The purpose of this analysis was to investigate the duration of follow-up time available for new users of New Molecular Entities (NMEs) approved in 2017, stratified by age, sex, and calendar year, in the Sentinel Distributed Database (SDD). The study period includes data from January 1, 2017 to March 31, 2021. This request is a rerun of a previous request investigating the same NMEs, "Duration of Follow Up for New Molecular Entities Approved in 2017: A Descriptive Analysis."

    This analysis includes two reports:

    • Report 1: We investigated the duration of follow-up time available for users of 23 NMEs that were approved between January 1, 2017 to June 30, 2017. We distributed this request to six Sentinel Data Partners on October 6, 2021.
    • Report 2: We investigated the duration of follow-up time available for users of 25 NMEs that were approved between July 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017. We distributed this request to six Sentinel Data Partners on October 6, 2021.
