Description

In this report, we examined counts of females with etonogestrel implant insertions and removals by provider specialty and year in the Sentinel Distributed Database (SDD) and reported distribution of exposure codes among those females.

The study period includes data from January 1, 2015, through May 31, 2025. We distributed this request to 12 Sentinel Data Partners on September 12, 2025 and to two additional Sentinel Data Partners on December 23, 2025.
