    Description

    In this report we described the incidence and prevalence of select sources of confounding over time in the Sentinel Distributed Database (SDD). We evaluated the following conditions as select sources of confounding: 1) obesity, 2) overweight, 3) smoking, 4) alcohol abuse or dependence, 5) drug abuse or dependence, 6) history of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) or percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), and 7) history of sudden cardiac arrest. The study period includes data from January 1, 2006 to June 30, 2018. We distributed this request to 17 Sentinel Data Partners on September 24, 2018.
