This report contains estimates of adequate initial prescription durations for opioid analgesics following 17 surgical procedures in the Sentinel Distributed Database (SDD). Data from October 5, 2009 to October 5, 2014 from 15 Data Partners contributing to the SDD were included in this report. As of this posting, this preliminary analysis is currently undergoing refinement in a new request.
