Duration of Follow Up for New Molecular Entities Approved in 2019: First Descriptive Analysis

The purpose of this analysis was to evaluate the uptake and length of follow-up time available for new users of New Molecular Entities (NMEs) approved in 2019, stratified by age, sex, and calendar year, in the Sentinel Distributed Database (SDD). This analysis includes two reports:

• Report 1: We conducted a descriptive cohort study to calculate the duration of follow-up time available for new users of 24 of the 48 NMEs approved in 2019. We distributed this request to six Sentinel Data Partners on October 22, 2021.
• Report 2: We conducted a descriptive cohort study to calculate the duration of follow-up time available for new users of the remaining 24 of 48 NMEs approved in 2019. We distributed this request to six Sentinel Data Partners on October 22, 2021.
