Do All Roads Lead to FHIR? Imagining FHIR as a Meta-Common Data Model for Research

HL7 FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resource) gains more prominence each year as a health care data exchange standard. In this talk, we examined whether FHIR may also hold promise as a common data model to support multi-site research.
